3 1/2 Weeks Gone, In Laws Gone Back

My in laws flew back to Medan yesterday, it's back to just the three of us at home. Rafa must be thinking where is this 'Medan' place, how come everyone is going there? First it was his visiting cousin, then the other two cousins and paternal grandparents, and now his maternal grandparents whom he has grown so used to having around. All went to Medan.

We can tell that my parents in law enjoyed their visit this time a lot more than their previous visits. I guess Rafa is at a much more interesting and entertaining age to them now.



Having a bigger kitchen also helped as they spent quite a bit of time preparing food. I got to enjoy noodles like this for breakfast regularly while they were here.


It was great while it lasted. It will be back to our usual bread for breakfast once the supply of Indonesian risolles they made run out.

Anyway 3 1/2 weeks visit feels really really short. Wenty already missed them and Rafa looked for them a few times too. Hope they'll come back for a longer visit next year :).
